What is a Pre-Order?
A Pre-Order is an item that is available to purchase, but has not yet been released.
How Do I Pre-Order an item?
Just add the item you would like to order to your basket and checkout as normal. However, we do recommend making purchases for Pre-Order items separate to in stock items.
An item I want to pre-order doesn't have the Add to Cart button, why?
To help manage Pre-Orders and to try and restrict the amount of time you are waiting for the item, Pre-Ordering will only be available up to 30 days before the product is released. So for example, a product released on the 30/10/2018 will only be available to order from the 01/10/2018. This helps us to manage the orders as well as means that you are not waiting months on end for an item to arrive.
When Will I receive my order?
An order will not ship until all items for that order are in stock. With Pre-Order items we aim to ship them out within 48 hours of the stock arriving.
Are the Release Dates Accurate?
They are as accurate as can be. Manufacturers can change the release dates without notice and there could be delays in getting deliveries from suppliers. However we will endeavour to let you know should a date change.
When will I be charged for my order?
At the moment, due to a limitation with our payment processor, you will have a transaction appear on your account as Pending straight away. However, we will cancel that transaction ASAP, so that you are not charged for the item. We will then invoice you closer to the release date for the amount owed.
We are working with Barclays to set up a new processing method, which will make the process simpler.
What happens if the price changes on my item?
If the price of an item changes between you placing the order and the release, we will unfortunately have to invoice for the newer price. Manufacturers can also change the prices of their items without notification. While we will endeavour to avoid increasing our prices, sometimes it will be necessary.
